Through participant and guest-led walks, written and visual documentation, the Walkative Project explores how walking can trigger processes of thinking, researching, collaborating and making.
Urban and digital collective existence during the pandemic
I will look into how we navigate our collective existence in the urban realm and online. How our bodily performance and collective choreography of physical distancing in the street is put into contrast with the search and longing of human contact online instrumentalised by digital platforms. Today in both urban and digital spaces we are atomised while being surveilled and tracked – a reality which has been intensified during the pandemic.
Through images from older and new film works as well as a recorded sequence from the streets of Stockholm I hope to discuss and reflect together on how we experience our collective behaviour and existence during physical distancing. Anna Ådahl, 2020
